This is using Adobe Photoshop. I cropped a recent picture of my friend Allison and put it over someone's head from a photo from the Highland Park Sr. High 1991 yearbook.

Artist Statement


Photography to me is capturing life in a different light and in an artistic and original way. That is what I am trying to create with my photos is something you have never seen in the same way.
I mostly enjoy photographing people. I believe people can make photos the most interesting because of their expressions. I have tried to capture my photos of my subjects in the most natural and candid way.
When it comes to editing photos of people, I personally like to keep the beauty of the person and not drastically change too many things. Although, that can be hard to do with Adobe Photoshop. For most of my photos involving people I have chosen an artistic filter through Photoshop that still keeps the special essence of the photograph. I also especially like black and white photos because I have a love for old photography and that is something I try to express through my own photos.
I hope that when people look at my photos they feel connected to the photograph because it is something they have never seen before, or something they have never seen in the same way.
